Astro Alex arrived at the station!

Yesterday afternoon Alexander Gerst and his crew Sergei Prokopyev (Russia) and Serena Auñón-Chancellor (USA) arrived at the International Space Station and received a warm welcome by the 55/56 increment crew. Of course, Astro Alex brought his companion, Die Maus, with him, as you can see on the title photo from the NASA livestream. We know look forward to follow the crew’s activities and experiments during their 6 months stay.

In the meantime, there has been some movement in the safety process for MarconISSta. We do not have any specific date yet, but believe that installation might happen during the next month!

If you want to meet (parts of) the team and get a MarconISSta mission patch, join us at “Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften” today at TU Berlin (https://www.lndw.tu-berlin.de/programm/haus-der-luft-und-raumfahrt/).
